Summary:
The Finance Manager position will provide the financial and administrative support for the Shenzen Kai Ni En Trading Co. Limited (KNE) office of Eastek International Corporation, located in Shenzen, Guangdong, China. The Finance Manager will also support the other finance personnel of China-based Eastek, as required. The individual will provide transactional leadership and oversight for sourcing activities and related warehousing of raw materials supporting manufacturing activities globally. The position reports to the Corporate Controller and provides work leadership and direction to other employees of KNE.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
• Accounting
o Ensure timely and accurate accounting transactions and reporting for KNE entity
o Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and management reports
o Work collaboratively with other global finance team members to achieve accurate and timely reporting, including strict monitoring of intercompany balances and reconciliations
o Audit and tax coordination with Eastek Corporate, regulatory agencies and professional service providers
o Ensure tax filings and related governmental compliances are completed on time and accurately
o Complete necessary treasury transactions and related banking activities; prepare weekly cash forecast reporting
o Conduct monthly reconciliation with vendors
o Prepare annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
o Other accounting duties as assigned
• Administrative Office Oversight
o Provide KNE personnel support services, including, but not limited to, human resources activities, payroll and employee benefits
o Coordinate closure activities associated with all other Chinese Eastek entities, as required
Education & Experience:
• 8-10 years of related distribution Accounting experience
• Knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and PRC Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (and their differences)
• Experience with Tax reporting
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Flexible work hours to support international meeting requirements (evening meeting hours)
• Mature leadership with team management and coaching skills
• Experience working with accounting and payroll software
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (MS365) software
• Strong spreadsheet skills
• Comfortable researching and preparing recommendations for various tax, legal, and accounting issues
