babel bat is a visionary company incorporated through two visions:<br><br>- knowledge: bring to the world an effective and accessible open source e-learning platform and allows community-based teaching material contribution and provides quality education through the internet.<br><br>- happiness: maximize long-term return to shareholders; be an inspiring place to work for staff; facilitate educators with an effective teaching platform; provide top class education to students; and be a responsible coporate citizen in the world.<br><br>babel bat's founder mr. kelvin liao graduated from harvard university in 2001 with a joint b.a. degree in physics and mathematics. he continued his academic career at the clay mathematics institute. in 2005 he obtained an m.sc. degree in econometrics and mathematical economics with the london school of economics and political science (lse), and commenced his financial career at tiburon partners llp, with responsibility for risk management, financial and quantitative analysis for the london based hedge fund. he became the cfo of china hong kong telecom in 2007 and brought the sister company international elite ltd. ipo during the same year. in 2010, he founded babel bat (shenzhen) partners to realize his dreams in education that promise to change the way the world thinks about school.
